"Water is my biggest beauty tip: I drink three litres a day. I’d rather drink three litres of water than sit in a spa and be pampered: it has the same effect. If you don’t drink lots of water there’s no point. I challenge any woman to drink 3 litres water everyday for a month and sleep for seven hours a night, that she won’t lose weight, look better and feel better… Also, wash your hair in beer to make it shiny; use an egg-white mask to tighten your pores."

Elle also commented on her diet: “I eat organic, locally sourced food wherever possible. I don’t like to have chemicals in my body at all, so I don’t drink, smoke or take drugs, not even Aspirin.”

Our take: Consuming the right amount of water daily is one of the most well-know rules both for health and beauty. Sufficient amount of water will get rid of toxins and allow for maintenance of moisture in your skin. Beer, on the other hand, is not such a commonly known beauty treatment. Though using beer for a hair rinse might not sound appealing, it will definitely revive your hair. Not only will it add shine and boost the volume of your hair, but will also make it softer. Make sure that you use flat, room temperature beer for the rinse. Also, make sure to rinse the hair very well as you probably do not want it to smell like beer afterwards! And, of course, the egg-whites mask, which has also been praised by Hana Soukupova and Shalom Harlow, will do a great job tightening your pores.
